Eastern Brazilwood – ground (Sappanwood)

Description

Eastern Brazilwood is from the heartwood of trees, and is found throughout east Asia, also known as Sappanwood, Cæsalpinia punctate.

Warm reds are obtained when dyed at a 20% WOF and deep reds when dyed at 50-100%. The dyebath can be reused to obtain lighter colors.
