Sumac Gallnut extract

Description

Sumac Gallnut extract is a natural extract prepared from the Chinese sumac gallnut (Rhus semialata Murr.)

Pre-treatment of cellulose fibers: The tannic acid is perfect for the pre-treatment of cellulose fibers to enhance the fixation of the mordant during the mordanting step. This tannin is light in finished dye color.
Textile dyeing: Any fiber can be dyed with oak gallnuts. It does increase lightfasntess of the resulting colors.
