Woad pigment

Description

Woad pigment (Isatis tinctoria).
In Medieval Europe it was the only source of blue dye for textiles.
The blues achieved from woad are much subtler, visions of French bleu come to mind.
After building the mother vat, dyeing with woad is a breeze.
